MS SQL SERVER
MS SQL SERVER is the main database management system used by our applications. We have been working with this database since 2000, starting with MS SQL 2000, further MS SQL 2008, MS SQL 2014 and now we use MS SQL 2016 in new versions of our software.
For different loads, we use different versions of edition – Express, Standard, Enterprise, and Developer.
The size of the database with which we work in some working software reaches 0.5 TB, and the number of records in some tables reaches tens of millions. The number of users who work simultaneously on the same database reaches up to 500 people dispersed throughout the city or region.
For distributed databases, we use merge replicas and linked-servers. In several applications for generating reports, we use the Reporting Service. To manage queues on heavily loaded systems, we use Service Broker
PostgreSQL
With the database management system of PostgreSQL data, we worked as participants in large projects of partners. We have extensive experience in programming functions on PL / SQL, performing data migration tasks between PostgreSQL and third-party systems, developing reports and optimizing performance.
We developed a special application for analyzing the performance of complex systems using PostgreSQL. This application imports a complete log file called PostgreSQL containing a lot of records that cannot be handled manually. Next, we calculate the statistics and select the queries that consume the longest server time.
Oracle
We do not have our own development of Oracle. With this database management system, we worked as participants in large partner projects. We have experience in programming functions on PL / SQL, performing data migration tasks between Oracle and third-party systems, developing reports and optimizing queries.
MySQL
On MySql all databases of our developments written on PHP language. We have experience in database design, SQL programming and communication settings between MySql and MS SQL.
