There are two features of the accountant′s work with small firms: simplified software and the need to work with several firms at the same time.
The first feature is that the accountant does not need all the capabilities of software used in a large enterprise. In this case, these opportunities interfere. And the problem is not that they take up space on the computer and computer time. The main thing is that they complicate the commissioning of the program and the very process of working with the program. The program "BAS-Enterprise" is intended for use on small firms and is simply cleared of superfluous resources.
The other side is working with several accounting departments at the same time. In the presence of good software, qualified accountants can conduct simultaneously several firms that are similar in type of accounting and geographically located in one area. For this work, the program requires two things: an easy transition from one company to another and simultaneous support of software for all firms. The path used by different databases does not allow this goal to be achieved. One and the same update has to be done as many times as the databases are used, the same reference book should be configured as many times as the company is serviced, etc. In "BAS-Enterprise" accounting is maintained in the same database. Switching between firms is carried out by simple choice of the necessary record from the directory of firms or divisions. For all, the same chart of accounts, the same accounting entry settings, and the same reports are used.
There are five interrelated modules: balance, salary, material accounting, partners and fixed assets. Each module solves its usual tasks.
